Money Stress

Many people say money is their greatest source of stress. That was the finding of a survey of more than 3,000 U.S. adults.1

Sixty-four percent of adults say money causes them to feel somewhat or very stressed. The stress is even higher for parents with children under age 18:

  • Among parents, 77 percent say they feel this way.
  • In addition, 58 percent of parents say paying for basics causes them to feel somewhat or very stressed.
